BEGINNER FUNDAMENTALS
As an experienced instructor of voice, I utilize an approach that motivates and guides students toward success. I balance personalized attention and practical training with lots of positive encouragement.
FOUNDATIONAL TECHNIQUE
It can be difficult to find a reliable teacher who focuses on good vocal technique. From day one in my studio, you will be introduced to foundational techniques and quality vocal repertoire chosen just for you.
AUDITION PREPARATION
I specialize in preparing students for auditions and/or helping them create personalized audition materials. Each individual student has unique goals, so I adapt my lessons to each member of my studio.

WHERE DO YOU TEACH?
I teach lessons in my studio located near the Rice University campus.
WHAT STYLE OF VOICE DO YOU TEACH?
I am trained to teach in the following vocal styles: classical, musical theater, jazz, and pop.
WHAT ARE YOUR QUALIFICATIONS?
I hold a Doctorate in Vocal Performance and have taught private voice for 20+ years. I am also a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and the Texas Music Educators Association.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
